  I have only been to Lighthouses Sound for catered events. Except for a period last year when they had staff issues, food and service have been good. View of OC and is fantastic. My short friends do not like the chairs. Guests tend to sink into the chairs and they are deep. For once, a good chair for a tall person.

  When I made reservations, they failed to ask if I would be okay with a wedding going on 20 feet from my table. My guests and I could not talk to each other due to music volume. Lamb was overcooked, however the swordfish was cooked perfectly.

  Cons: Service with Alfred was TERRIBLE. Didn't ask how we wanted steak cooked, didn't refill our wine from bottle on our table. Had to ask twice for water w lemon refill. Was too busy cleaning to check up on us. Asked my husband if he was done w his plate when he CLEARLY had about a third of his steak left and he still had his fork and knife in hand! Felt like we were being rushed out when they weren't even closed yet.
  
  Ordered tuna tar-tar and it was just literally chopped tuna nuggets over cellophane noodles, not finely minced like tar-tar should be.
  
  Pros: view of the bay and skyline, my husband liked his prime rib. Wine was good and not overly priced. Ask about their half priced wine list on Thursdays.
